woolesheep:

I was flipping through some photo albums of my school’s facebook page, and I get to this picture of a couple making out.

A school administrator took this photo.

And posted it to the school facebook.

Really?

I see this as a sort of invasion of privacy to the couple. Okay, maybe they consented,…

Many many other schools are real strict about PDA. As a result, it makes making out an exciting, rebellious, taboo thing to do. On the other hand, our school is like “ha, kissing!” and posts a pic of teens locking lips. Talk about opposite land!

Maybe whoever uploaded the photo justified it by thinking it fits in with Valentine’s Day. But seriously, not a wise decision for the school to post the photo! I mean, we teens don’t post pictures of anyone making out unless it’s an intentional, permitted photoshoot. So unless the couple consented, the school faculty is being rather irrespectful to them.

But hey, I make the same mistakes too. I probably shouldn’t have posted that picture of Brandon & Mr. E, just to be on the safe side. Luckily no one got in trouble there.
